I'm Richard L Cummings

My life long love of fine art and photography has never waned, despite the fact that I always earned my living in different fields of endeavor.  My love of art has always been a refuge, and for me,  a release from the day to day grind of having to make a living.  My first real job as an  adult was in advertising. as a layout artist and copywriter, and I recently retired from my last career, which was in commercial construction management.  I've always kept my camera close by and have shot for my own enjoyment as well as company websites and occasionally weddings and family portraits.

For me, photography is a treasure hunt.  Images worth recording are all around us if we just take the time to really look for them.  Now that I've retired I have some time to dig through my personal photography "treasure chest", hidden in the depths of my computer, and resurrect some images that spoke to me in the past...and still speak to me today.
